Barbecue Time!

As if the tour of the capital was not enough enjoyment for the day, Pam had invited everyone back to her home for a good old fashion American barbecue. This was a first for our Germany friends and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.

What a wonderful evening with Jeremy manning the barbecue and the sun was out so we spent some time taking pictures. It is amazing how long you can hold a smile when everyone wants the same picture taken with there own camera.

For dessert, Pam thought we should make S'mores. I had to do a little work to get people to try one except Dorica who stepped right up and was the first in line. I have never seen anyone eat S'mores without getting chocolate on their face yet Dorica did. I was looking forward to seeing a chocolate covered face and did not think that was going to happen until Lisa decided to try it and then let her Hubert finished it off. You have to love a guy with a beard who is willing to eat something that will always jump right into that hair!

Once dinner was done, it was something to see everyone working together to wash and dry dishes, take the garbage out and make sure everything was put away. That would have been one expense crew if we were getting paid.

Because of my afternoon flight, I left early Wednesday morning to drive back to Langhorne and have lunch with Peder before heading to the airport for my flight back to Seattle.
